The Zebra DS457 Hands Free Fixed Mount 2D Barcode Imager, is perfect for customer facing environments such as retail POS, airport boarding gates and manufacturing production lines. Why? Because this device will deliver a high-volume, quick paced, hands-free scanning experience.

Workers will be able to scan virtually any barcode thanks to the comprehensive data capture, this includes 1D, 2D and direct part marks.
The breakthrough digital imaging technology that is integrated within this device, allows for extraordinary scanning speed regardless of what type of barcode is presented, it could be printed on a paper label, displayed on a mobile screen etc, but it will always work to the same capability.
The DS457 maximises on counter space, meaning that this device can be integrated into the tiniest of spaces with ease.

Your workers can actually choose whether to use this device in a presentation or trigger-activated mode, this provides flexibility for a variety of applications.

Standard Range: Perfect for general-purpose, 1D/2D-intensive applications
High Density: Great for reading tiny, dense codes.
Driver’s License Parsing: Ideal for 1D/2D applications that require the capture of U.S. driver’s license ID information
Direct Part Marking: For rapid capture of every type of direct part mark, including dot peen, laser etch, chemical etch, inkjet, mold, cast and thermal spray; capture marks on virtually any surface, including metal, rubber, plastic and glass.
